Following his graduation from the University of Adelaide in 2000, Dr Donghyun Kim moved to Bendigo and began providing care in both Bendigo and Castlemaine. Dr Kim found that access to specialist dentists was somewhat limited in this busy semi-rural area. With guidance and support from some highly respected and experienced dentists, he quickly found himself well able to undertake all aspects of dental surgery.
Dr Kim has worked at Wills St Dental for most of his career, allowing him the opportunity to self-critique his development and knowledge base. Dr Kim continues his professional development by attending seminars and programs on a regular basis.
Dr Kim appreciates that the dental needs and expectations of the individual can be many and varied. Procedures can range from simple maintenance and repairs, to root canals, crowns and full mouth restorations. He takes care and consideration when explaining choices and alternatives to each patient before a tailored treatment plan.
Outside of work, Dr Kim likes to keep fit by hiking and bike riding and entertaining his young children. He likes to relax by watching 90’s NBA games.
